Can You Replace A First Gen Tacoma Alternator Without Using Jack Stands?

My alternator was in dire need of a replacement. Anytime moisture would hit it, it would start making grinding noise for a few days. in this case, it went on longer than that and it stopped working.

The process did take me a few hours.

2003 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner First Generation. This series has many interchangeable parts that can be used from the 4X4 model if needed if not in stock using the current make and model.
