How To Lower Your First Gen Tacoma's Spare Tire

My first time lowering my tire, I had no idea how to do it and needed a tire shop to show me how.
In fact, I didn't know I needed a special key to lower my tire!

I had this funky doohickey with all the other tools that I knew how to use, but I didn't know what it was for because somebody had slipped a set of pliers inside of the insert and thought it looked weird and didn't think much of it.

I'd assumed that it was universal with all other vehicles that there was something on the end of my rods that would help me lower the tire.
