Butchering one of our rams (which we felt had the lowest quality fleece).
Nothing compares to exclusively grassfed, homegrown, naturally raised Icelandic Sheep Meat. This is the first one we've ever butchered, since we've started raising this multi purpose breed. Our home butchered cattle, goats, swine, rabbits, pigeon, turkeys, geese, ducks, chickens...do not even compare.
All we did was slow cook it, over night on our old woodstove...no added ingredients (other than a sprinkle of Himalayan sea salt). 😋
Supposedly the meat is highly requested amongst chefs 😉... now we know why ha ha
