Robbie Williams - Swingin' Live @ the Albert was filmed on October 10, 2001 & was most definitely the hottest ticket in all of London. It seemed that nobody was going to miss the opportunity to witness Europe's finest entertainer croon the world's most romantic tunes of the legendary "Rat Pack": Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr., in England's grandest concert hall. Celebrities from around the globe were turned away, foreign politicians denied access & even members of minor royalty were offering private favours for even a sniff of a ticket stub.

Mr. Success was at the very top of his game, as was every member of the 58 piece orchestra with conductor, Steve Sidwell, doubling as Robbie's sideman on several occasions throughout the performance. Sprinkled with spectacular duets alongside Jon Lovitz, Jane Horrocks & Jonathan Wilkes, the star-studded audience was transfixed & spellbound right from the opening note.

Everyone sensed it would be a night to remember, however no-one could have imagined that it would be quite unforgettable. For one night only, the glitz & glamour of Las Vegas came to London, & gave it a good shagging.

One of the finest moments comes at the very end, with Robbie gesturing out to his mother in the audience, chiming out "Hey Mum, this is your song singin', I Love You"!
