Living According Flesh or THE SPIRIT OF GOD ...

As this year (2023) comes to an end and the New Year (2024) begins, let us take a look at ourselves and what we call priorities... Every new year people set out to begin new resolutions for their life, more exercise, loose weight, stop drinking drinking or smoking, more dedication to building themselves up in status or even wealth... Yet, because they are depending upon their own power and disciplines to do these things, they always fail and fall short of expectations before they even get started many times... Proverbs tells us to lean not on our own understanding but to Trust the Lord... The very center most verse of the Bible in Psalms 118 states that man will let you down but the Lord will always be True... Man includes ones own self as well as others... So depending on our own ideas and strength is always destined for short comings and failures...
Jesus has given us the key to the Kingdom of Heaven and access to His Kingdom but it all entails for us to become Born Again in Spirit... Not our own spirit but the Very Spirit of God...
Let us end this year and step into the New Year, walking in the Spirit of God to lead us into the life that He has created each of us to live instead of leaning on our own and old ways of understandings... Instead of waisting our time on resolutions that we can not see through, let submit ourselves to God the Father, Jesus the Son and be lead through The Holy Spirit... Let us end praying amiss and adultering ourselves to this world and instead always pray in The Spirit...
