This is [another] alternate arrangement, a slower-paced electric version not playing the full strings every other chord. It's something I used to do often live, but with my fingers and arms now so disabled, it didn't quite come off. I mean, it got there 90% of the time, but when it's just a voice and an electric guitar, there's no hiding pace from a dropped note. What the hey, the lyric is what this song is about. I get asked a lot is this is a true story. The fact is, in this land of shame [England], it's ten thousand true stories. Quite what crime my children ever did, to have their father taken away from them and denied access to them, purely because he has a terminal neurological disorder, neither they nor I can fathom. See the recital version, with photographs, for proof of just how much has been covered up to protect an initial mistake.
