This is an awesome collection of 1980's commercials. It's from the poor man's MTV, Friday Night Videos. This was a program that aired music videos on NBC Friday nights. Some of the commercials are narrated by the Saturday Day Night Live announcer (Don Pardo) which is really distracting. Especially the AIDS one. There's also some 80's christmas commercials thrown in here since this was broadcast on December 13th, 1985. Oh, and some nice commercial jingles. *Swatch Commercial- "You better Swatch yourself, at Macy's Bamberger's." *Yeah. Whatever that means.
*Asti Cinzano Italian Wine Commercial: I can barely understand what they're saying, but I love this commercial. It has the weird campiness of those Mentos commercials.
*Splash Dance Shower Radio- We had one of these when I was a kid.
*Hanes Sweats Commercial- The music is really good and the colors are nuts.
*1985 Panasonic "Take The Music With You" Barbershop Commercial- This is amazing. They show one of those super rare boomboxes with a record player built in. Plus they had a couple other cool boomboxes and walkman clones. Looks like they also made super small radio headphones as well. I'm sure someone will be able to identify all of these devices. One guy looks like he pulls a phone out of his hair. It's just a tiny flat radio, but if you saw it today you would immediately think *phone*. This is one of my favorite commercials ever. All these bleeding edge electronics from 1985 are fascinating. As Bender "Bending" Rodriquez would say, "We come a loooong way, baby."

*Christmas Sprite Commercial "Santa Knows": and what he knows is about Sprite winning a taste test.
*Wild Musk Patchouli Perfume: I don't know what that is, but it seemed to do the trick.
*1985 NYC AIDS Hotline- Ok. This feels like a bit. When they narrator starts talking I'm just waiting to hear, "Muuuusical Guest Huey Lewis and the News." It's Don Pardo.
*California Wine Coolers Christmas Commercial- Aside from the music, there is nothing Christmas about this commercial. It's just B-roll of women in bikinis. Is that really what people want to see?
*Canon Sprint Camera- Just canoeing out to take creepshots of my wife. Don't be alarmed. This camera even has Milf Mode. The jingle/song is pretty good too.
*Mandee "We've Got The Hots For You"- This song is terrible. That lead girl CANNOT sing. I know it's a department store jingle gig, but jeeze. The singing is offensively bad. Lots of 80s fashion though.
*Aqua Velva- This Christmas, he's having an affair with his secretary.
*Juicy Fruit Ski Commercial- "The Taste is Gonna Move You" Jingle.
*Radio Shack Christmas Commercial- This commercial was ahead of its time.
*Stetson Cologne- Manly Men who know cars and repair cars and women like men who repair cars. I feel more manly just seeing this commercial.
*Sonora Cosmetics- Kmart brand makeup. "Sonora, sonora, sonora"
*White Mountain Cooler- Another ski commercial.
*Chaps Cologne Ralph Lauren Commercial
*Bob Hope Christmas Special 1985
*Generra Winter Sportswear Collection- This commercial is a minute long and feels like the b-roll you'd put in a music video from the movie.
*Billy Joel Greatest Hits- Musicland: Record, CD and Cassette.
*Brut. It Smells like a man Christmas Commercial

*Maurice Hines, Famous Hoofer Miller Light Commercial "Great Taste Can't be beat"
*ZACT Smokers Toothpaste- That lady is a better actor than this commercial deserves.
