Travelers were stranded in Paris and London due to train cancellations as flood warnings were issued for parts of Europe.
Eurostar flights to and from London were canceled on Saturday after a tunnel under the Thames was flooded due to heavy rain. Holiday travel plans were disrupted at one of the busiest times of the year. Hundreds of travelers trying to cross the Channel were stuck at London's St Pancras International station and Gare du Nord station in Paris. Eurostar, which operates services from London to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, said it would not run high-speed trains on Saturday because of the flooding.
