Church Breaks Ground on New Worship Center

Church Episcopal Leaders, Lee County officials, community ministers, congregants, family and friends will gather as Mt. Olive breaks ground on a new $3M facility. Mt. Olive will celebrate 122 years of existence in the community on December 17th and following the 11am service, there will be a celebration and Ground Breaking for a multi-million worship center. This will be the first of its kind for a church in the Dunbar Community Mt. Olive is excited for the opportunity to begin at this new location after 88 years in its present location. The construction will begin in early 2018 and is expectant to take 18 months.
