Tonight, as we face a year of uncertainty and perplexing issues, in a nation that has made an art of accepting the unacceptable, we must remember just how beautiful this country is and how it's worth saving. Lest we forget. May you all hold on to your faith and each other in the coming year. Don't spend this year "mining for darkness" as so many of us have. Go out and devour the beauty of this country.
