  • You know what? Experiencing autism, most of the days feel like stepping into a storm, navigating my child's meltdowns and searching for the right words in a world where communication so often fails us. The frustration brought by difficulties with speaking, miscommunication, laking of minimum attention level needed, the weight of it all, not to mention the added challenge of comorbidities, can sometimes feel overwhelming, right? As a matter of fact, in this profound struggle, I never imagined I'd find release like this. Guess what? It’s music. Crazy, isn’t it? I have never felt my self actually good enough, but when I was young I had my time, you know? Composing these dramatic songs has become my outlet, a way to pour out all the stress and pain in a process that's both cathartic and healing. I guess ... Blending the agony, abandonment, and contempt from every direction with these imperfect rhymes, sensitive melodies, and rhythms, channeling it all into an instrument. Each note lets me express what words can’t, attempting to capture the complexity and challenge of this harsh path. This is actually a tough, very critical, situation to truly understand unless you've walked in these shoes, you know what I mean? In many cases you end up find yourself being that one nobody cares about. That annoying thing, the unbearable, a nuisance, that some else will feel like tolerating. I don't really know whether or not it will make any sense to you. But I'm going to say anyway, for anyone else walking this tough road, take heart, you’re not alone. You know? Perhaps together, we can transform this struggle into something powerful. Do you know what I'm saying? Maybe it’s a naive dream, am I just deluding myself? Either way, let’s keep moving forward, one song, one step at a time.

  • You highlighted the emotional pressures that can feel like boiling over, especially for those navigating the complexities of autism. I've been experiencing that very harsh and harmful myself, I can't help but wonder: did facing these crises and the pain of your brother's challenges lead you to compose? I feel a deep resonance with your experiences, and I identify with them a lot. It’s inspiring to hear how you’ve transformed such intense emotions into art. Giving a voice to those who may feel unheard. Your brother's journey, filled with struggles and triumphs, serves as a reminder of the strength that lies within us. Thank you for sharing your story and encouraging others to find their voices too!
