(K2 Part 52) This style is fantastic, it's so low-maintenance and user friendly. Pankration is (and always has been) simply (Kick) boxing plus wrestling, it is perhaps history's first mixed martial art. No need to fix what ain't broke. Invented by the militaristic Ancient Greek city-states like Sparta, the Ancient Roman empire learned this style after conquering the Greeks and then perfected the style.

{Editors' Note: In my writing, I attempt to never make physical objects or mental concepts the focus of attention. It's a stylistic thing I do because keeping attention on the characters and their interactions are much, much more interesting. However, these martial arts styles end up having the very souls of their creators and practitioners baked right into them, so I have no problem going on at length about these styles.
