Dustin's Diner will be returning to Haggin Oaks to help raise money for the Bakersfield Homeless Center on Dec. 15th and will run through Dec. 23rd. Dustin's Diner was started by brothers Dustin and David Kilpatrick in 1993, who were nine and 11 at the time. The brothers sold hot chocolate to families touring Haggin Oaks to view the outdoor holiday decorations. Since the start, Dustin's Diner has raised over $180,000. Last year, the diner raised nearly $15,000 for the homeless center. The diner is open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday's and Saturday's and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
