Michael Fish's NBC26 weather forecast

Today will be a little blustery and still quite cool. Any light snow will be moving out, then after that, just a couple of flurries are possible. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the low/mid-20s. It looks like another Alberta Clipper system is on its way late tonight. This system, as of this writing, looks to produce a little accumulating snow, but there are a couple computer models that have backed off on this just a bit. Either way, some light accumulation is possible by morning. That chance of snow continues into Saturday morning.  It looks like most areas will pick up 1-2", but with this parade of Clipper systems, the forecast could change a bit as it approaches.  Highs Saturday will be in the upper-20s to lower-30s. Saturday night, another very weak disturbance could bring some light precip, but this is just a slight chance at this point. Lows won't be too bad in the mid-20s. Looks like some of us may do a little melting on Sunday with quiet conditions and highs in the mid-30s. These 30-degree temps continue through next Tuesday. We are watching the potential of a stronger system later next week, but it's much too early to give any specifics. When you're this far out, the forecast could completely change. We'll keep you updated.
