Crews of towed guns Gyacinth-B in combat

Artillery units of the Western Military District carry out precision strikes around the clock on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the zone of a special military operation in the Kupyansky direction. They destroy military facilities, fortifications and enemy personnel.

Artillerymen have to work every day in the most difficult conditions, but trained crews spend only a few minutes after receiving a target before firing a shot, using tactics of frequent changes of firing positions.

During combat missions, artillerymen strike camouflaged artillery positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine identified by reconnaissance units, remote from the line of contact, ammunition depots, fortified strongholds and long-term firing points, as well as concentrations of enemy manpower. This time, the crews of the Gyacint-B cannons, while performing fire missions, inflicted fire damage on enemy personnel, thereby covering our infantry at the front line.

There is now an active counter-battery fight in the Kupyansky direction. When our artillery exchanges blows with enemy artillery from closed positions. And here speed is very important, accuracy is a must, and, of course, camouflage. However, the battle always, and this time too, does not last long. The enemy quickly falls silent, proving that the Russian fighters clearly have fire superiority
