Incredibly treacherous high waves startled tourists and locals in Ventura when a rogue wave crashed over Pierpont Beach on Thursday.
Men, women and children, hauled ass from the waves caused by a winter storm on Seaward Ave yesterday afternoon,
“Approximately eight people were injured," Ventura County Fire Department Spokesman Andy Vansciver said. "All of the people in the area were swept down on to shore. Multiple vehicles in the area were moved around and swept around due to the impact and force of the water.”
