This is the terrifying moment a speeding driver narrowly misses a dog walker after mounting the kerb while undertaking another vehicle.

The impatient motorist swerved round a corner and on to the pavement, almost mowing down the pedestrian who was out walking with their dog.

Benjamin Burton captured the dramatic near-miss on his car's dash-cam as the Jeep-style vehicle ploughed past him while he was waiting to turn right.
