Sweden edges closer to full NATO membership as the Turkish committee gives approval

Sweden's high hopes to become the 32nd member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was revived after Turkiye's parliamentary committee gave its approval for the Nordic nation to join the world's largest military alliance.
