Indigenous Ink Masters: Papua New Guinea Julia Mageʼau Gray
I recorded this interview back in 2019 at the Indigenous Tattoo Festival held in Kohala Hawaii. This was an amazing event that brought together Indigenous skin markers from across the globe. I am still learning how to navigate being a solo content creator telling the story of ancestral skin marking. So with this video the auto focus went off Julia's face and focused on the beautiful foliage behind her. Thankfully the audio is better in this one.
This interview is from my extensive archive of videos, interviews, conversations and presentations I have recorded over the past 8 years.
The Transformative Marks Podcast will be launching on January 9th 2024
