This week our hosts Frances Scott, Niko House and Aaron Good are joined by the director and the producer of the new documentary series, Four Died Trying, John Kirby and Libby Handros. They discuss the challenges of creating a film experience that links the assassinations of JFK, Malcolm X, MLK, RFK, and the politics of the US government today. Chapter One of the series is expected to begin streaming on Apple TV in early January and – along with the first episode, Prologue – will also be available for rent on Amazon Prime, YouTube, Vimeo and Journeyman Pictures. (Four Died Trying is Executive Produced by Mark Gorton, the co-chair of the American Values 2024 super PAC, which funds this podcast and The Kennedy Beacon.)
