NO MORE SPEED DATING at BURLINGTON BREWERY

On December 13th, I (as the speed dating host) have canceled all event listings online after the venue owner canceled all future events (because he no longer has the resources to allow me to run the events effectively and many people asked THEM for refunds).

Despite my full compliance, I just received a message from them again today regarding the same issues and that if I do not comply they would seek a 3rd party (likely a lawyer) against me to enforce compliance.

They also stated that one person wanted to purchase from venue staff directly because he/she didn't trust the organizer of the event... ME! I was also told that one person pulled off an illegal ticket purchase in the venue!

I have repeatedly instructed people in writing that to attend my events, they MUST purchase tickets ONLINE ONLY! and I have informed them that VENUE STAFF CANNOT SELL TICKETS and VENUE STAFF CANNOT ISSUE ANY REFUNDS!!!

Because of the unnecessary mental catastrophe Burlington Brewery has gone through this week in respect to my cancelled events, I have made this video of me talking to all of you so you all know that I am a real person speaking the truth.

Those who complained due to the refund timing (and/or not arriving yet) might need to wait longer due to holidays and weekends not counting as bank business days. My payment processor squareup.com estimates that the final refund will be issued by January 4, 2024.

Because of this and a recent incident with a new ticket buyer, I'm no longer running events for those aged 50 and up.
