Dozens of vessels stranded in Djibouti as Houthis 'set new rules' in Red Sea

The US Central Command reports that over 10 hours, 12 one-way attack drones, three anti-ship ballistic missiles, and two land attack cruise missiles launched by the Houthis have been successfully neutralized by the US military.

This has led to significant disruptions in business, with a nearly 35 percent reduction in the number of ships transiting the Bab al-Mandab strait. Consequently, numerous vessels have been stranded for six days, uncertain about when they will receive clearance to depart.

The Houthis are imposing new regulations, demanding assurances from every passing ship that they have no connections with Israel-neither heading to nor departing from Israeli ports, and not owned by Israelis.
