Disarm guy with gun. First responders flee.

A guy at my work with a gun overdosed. I gave him Narcan/naloxone and called 911. First responders saw the gun and ran away leaving me wondering why they left. Then I saw it and took it before the guy fully regained consciousness. Luckily, nobody got hurt and the man went to jail.
