B520 - Dec 24, 2023 Lowly Bethlehem

O Little Town of Bethlehem is a very popular holiday song that reminds believers that the little town was not important in the eyes of the world, but to God it was going to be special. The savior of the world would be born in that humble little town and the course of history would change forever, when later as an adult He would announce himself as the Messiah.

Bethelehem was a small blue collar town (House of Bread), that had a great history with royalty (David) and righteous judges (Boaz), and many other important events occurred there prior to the birth of Yeshua.

Rachel died giving birth to Benjamin near Bethlehem, the priestly tower where the shepherds watched over the temple flock was near Bethlehem and the living water from the pools of Solomon flowed down hill from Bethlehem to supply water to the Jerusalem temples. Yeshua came as the bread of life for all who seek the truth and He made the living water of the Holy Spirit available in the life of every believer. He was inspected by the priestly shepherds, while wrapped in swaddling clothes, and later as a child He was worshipped by the Magistrates as the promised King of the Hebrews.

Thirty plus years later, Yeshua was sacrificed on the tree for the sins of all who would accept, as a spotless lamb that started His story in the humble little shepherd town just outside the City of Jerusalem.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit from Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
