Hundreds, if not thousands, of pizza delivery drivers are on the brink of layoffs as Pizza Hut franchises trim down delivery services. The culprit? A new California law that raises the fast-food minimum wage by $4, bringing it to $20 per hour starting this April. This surpasses the state minimum wage increase to $16 an hour on January 1st.
