Governor Gretchen Whitmer says she is looking at writing an autobiography.

The governor says that might be one of her goals after her term is over in 2026. If she changes her mind and decides to run for President in 2028 or beyond, that would fit with several other politicians who published their life story before seeking the White House. Those include former President Barack Obama and the two Republicans he defeated, former U.S. Senator John McCain and current U.S. Senator Mitt Romney.
