Truth & Knowledge: Episode 22 – “Your Race Does Not Determine Who You Are”

In this episode, Trey Knowles reminds us that our race, culture, ancestry, or the world around us does not define who we are. True identity is determined by what flows from the heart—because what we value reveals who we are. As Jesus taught in Matthew 6:21: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart (passionately), all your soul (willfully), all your mind (thoughtfully), and all your strength (practically living like you love Him). When the Lord is in your heart, He determines who you are.

Jesus declares in John 15:5: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me, you can do nothing.” Without Him, we cannot truly know who we are. But with Him, our identity is rooted in love, obedience, and fruitfulness.
