Elk Herd in Pennsylvania! Benezette, Pennsylvania

There's a 127-mile-long driving loop through the mountains of Cameron and Elk Counties in PA. The Elk Scenic Drive road signs will guide you through "Elk Country" where we were able to check out home of Pennsylvania's wild elk herd, which number around 1400 now! On the way through, we stopped in Benezette (known as the Elk Capital of Pennsylvania) to check out the Elk Country Visitors Center on Winslow Hill. They were closed but that didn't stop us from seeing a handful of the beauties nearby!
