Several arrests were made during a pro-Palestinian demonstration on Christmas Day, where hundreds marched through Midtown chanting “Christmas is canceled here.”

Police reported that clashes between some protesters and officers near Grand Central Terminal and Union Square resulted in six arrests for menacing an officer, graffiti, and disorderly conduct.

Starting on Sixth Avenue around 2 p.m., the protesters circled the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, which was surrounded by barricades.

Police kept them on the outskirts of the tree area before they moved to Grand Central Terminal and Union Square. Many carried a “No Joy In Genocide” nativity scene splattered in fake blood on their shoulders, and Palestinian flags were waved.

Among the six arrested, one was charged with menacing an officer, one received a criminal court summons for graffiti, and four were issued desk appearance tickets for disorderly conduct, ABC7 News reported.
