Chronicles of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: December 23-25, 2023 Per Rybar

In the northern part of the enclave, Israeli infantry, supported by armored vehicles, is advancing towards the center of Gaza from previously occupied areas. Numerous airstrikes on densely populated buildings have resulted in increased civilian casualties.

In the central part of the enclave, the number of Israeli Air Force (IAF) strikes on settlements and their surroundings has significantly risen. Over the past two days, many Palestinians have been killed in attacks. In Al-Maghazi alone, more than 70 people died after an airstrike at a gathering of refugees.

Intense fighting continues in the southern part of the enclave. The Israelis have gained control over the eastern part of Khan Yunis, which is now in ruins. The IDF plans to further advance in this direction, as indicated by the powerful artillery strike in the Al-Maan area.

In the West Bank, Israeli security forces are conducting raids and arresting Palestinians suspected of having connections to Hamas. In major cities, these events often lead to clashes with the local population, sometimes escalating into shootouts.

Along the northern borders, from the coast to the Golan Heights, there is an exchange of strikes between Hezbollah and the IDF. Both Lebanese and Israeli border settlements are gradually being destroyed, but neither side is currently taking more decisive action.

The IAF has carried out another strike in Syria, targeting an object in the Sayyida Zaynab area in Damascus. Three missiles hit the target. Reza Mousavi was present during the raid.

Pro-Iranian units have once again attacked US bases in Syria and Iraq using kamikaze drones. With news of the death of a high-ranking IRGC officer in Damascus, the number of attacks may increase significantly in the near future.
