This should be a fascinating visit because Richard Lyons traces Democracy from Ancient Greece to America. Which begs the question of how one traces a Republic from Rome to America?

I'm also really curious what Richard Lyons thinks of our citizen legislature, where "We the People" write the laws by which we consent to be governed. Is that of a Democracy, or a Republic?
