SPECIAL! Christmas Worship Moment, Recorded 12/25/2023

As merry and wonderful as the holiday season can be for many, it can also be made challenging by grief or trauma. My father transitioned into the Presence of the Lord March 21, 2023 after several hard and painful months of illness from which we his family thought he was at the point to begin to recover. This is our first holiday season without him here. As wonderful a day as this Christmas day has been, it is also extremely poignant. He preached his last sermon to us from his hospital room via Facebook live on Christmas Day 2022.

It is in the hardest moments of life, when reaching out to our Abba God can feel so hard to do, that choosing whether to offer the sacrifice of worship can make the difference between receiving healing for the broken pieces of our hearts or falling completely apart. Praying through music has helped me talk to God with melodies from the heart when expression by any other means feels inadequate or impossible. May this music help you find comfort, peace, healing, hope, joy, and any other good thing you need for whatever hard moment you are facing this holiday season. Merry Christmas, and God grant you grace and strength for the year ahead.
