The Destruction of The Temples and The Great Isaiah Scroll

In this session we discuss the dating of the Gospels, the letters of the Apostles [epistles], and the book of revelation. There seems to be a missing piece of information that hasn't been considered when attempting to date the authorship of these documents. In this session I present you with this overlooked detail for your consideration.

If the Apostles would have witnessed the detail referred to in this session, then they would have included it in all of their writings and testimonies as further proof of the authenticity of the Claims of Christ, and the Apostles themselves.

I reference the prophecies of Isaiah concerning Nebuchadnezzar (destroyed the first temple in 586 BC), and Cyrus (decreed the rebuilding of the temple in 539 BC), the thing to note here is that Isaiah's ministry and prophecies were given between 740-700 BC... Which is 200 years before either of these men were born. This means that Isaiah not only predicted what they would do, but also called them by name 200 years before they were born... That is pretty spectacular!

Finally, I refer to the lives and deaths of the Apostles. Some would say that this is not a unique experience amongst religions and point to Hyrum and Joseph Smith. However, these two men were murdered by a mob. The Apostles were tried by the state or local govt. because of their claims of a new Kingdom, found guilty by the state and put to death by the state as a result. The distinction that sets the apostles apart from other martyrs is the Apostle John. They tried him and found him guilty on multiple occasions, and trying to put him to death each time, only for him to survive and recover miraculously. Despite the pains and sufferings and the knowledge that this gospel thing would likely be his own death he persevered... Why? Because He knew what he saw, He knew what he heard, and he knew what he had experienced.

The truth of his revelation about Jesus was enough to sustain him through all the hardships, through all the pain, through all the torment, and through the multiple attempts on his life... because the redemption and restoration of people to the Father is the most important thing in this life. Because it is only through the offering of Jesus Christ, and the gift of the Holy Spirit that you can be restored to the Father and receive eternal life.
