Massive unrest in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, over recently held parliamentary and local election results. Thousands of anti-government protesters staged a protest outside Belgrade city hall on December 24. The protest turned violent as supporters of the opposition party tried to storm into the administrative building. Visuals show angry protesters breaking the windows and doors of the building. The opposition demands the annulment of elections after the ruling party, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), won 46.72% of the votes in the snap parliamentary elections last weekend.
