Moscow has banned a pro-peace candidate from running in the presidential election.

Ekaterina Duntsova, a former journalist and city council member who advocates peace and "democratic processes," was rejected by the Russian Central Election Commission as a potential candidate due to "errors in the documents."
Twenty-nine people are potentially eligible to run for president, Russia's Central Election Commission (CEC) said Saturday.
As the registration of self-nominated candidates is coming to an end, officially recognized political parties still have a few days to register.
However, Ekaterina Duntzova's application was rejected by the Russian Central Election Commission on Saturday due to "errors in the documents."
The former journalist and city council member, who advocates "peace and democratic processes," may no longer be able to run for office.
The commission's head, Ella Pamfilova, said its members unanimously rejected Duntsova's proposal to run in the polls, which President Vladimir Putin is expected to win comfortably.
