As we gather today to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, let us delve into the deeper, often overlooked aspects of this joyous season. Christmas is more than just festive decorations, gifts, and merriment. It is a time when we are reminded of the profound importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit, especially in these challenging and late hours of human history.

1. Luke 1:35 - "And the angel answered and said to her, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.'"

2. John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

3. Galatians 4:4-5 - "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons."

4. Isaiah 7:14 - "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel."

5. Matthew 1:23 - "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

6. John 14:26 - "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

7. Ephesians 5:18 - "And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit."

As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us remember that Christmas is not just a historical event but a reminder of the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. May we be filled with His power, find hope in His presence, and continue pressing ahead in Christ, bringing His light to a world in need.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. 🙏
