Grüner Pütz Spring | Eifel Aqueduct Hiking Trail

I finally made it to Grüner Pütz Spring. The highest part and start of the Eifel Aqueduct in Germany. The Romans collected water from the side of the hill in small stone ditches that collected here and then went off into the aqueduct on their way to Cologne! You can hike the majority of the length of the aqueduct to the edge of Cologne and walk with the Romans!
