Season 2 Episode 15: Yeshua: Kinsman Redeemer and Savior of the World

So when our ideas about how things SHOULD be COLLIDE with how they ACTUALLY are, we must recognize that GOD is DOING SOMETHING. We need to trust that OUR DERAILMENT is HIS REALIGNMENT of our WALK with Him.Show more

I love what Eph 2:10 says:
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has FORE ORDAINED that we should WALK in.
You see? GOD has FORE ORDAINED GOOD WORKS for us. EVEN when we are NOT looking for them, HE is at work, THROUGH us, if we are indeed CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSES, and SURRENDER to trust Him.

And so when OUR PLANS seem derailed, we must QUICKLY alert to the fact that GOD IS DOING SOMETHING, and to flip the SWITCH in our minds to adopt an ATTITUDE of EXPECTATION, and to LOOK for what God is doing.

And who knows, but that small unexpected investment of time might end up saving someone’s soul? Is YOUR TIME worth such a TREASURE?
What about YOUR MONEY? CHRISTIAN CHARITIES around the world rely on our end-of year giving to keep them going.
CONSIDER SUPPORTING MINISTRIES right now that not only save lives, but encourage those who need it most, share the gospel, and support the distressed and persecuted believers. Ministries like:
• The San Diego rescue Mission, who does NOT TAKE FEDERAL FUNDING because of the Obama-era anti-Gospel strings attached
• And of course we have local Crisis Pregnancy Centers like CCAP that need our generosity to supply the health needs for women considering to choose life
• Samaritan’s Purse, of Franklin Graham’s ministry who goes to disasters all over the world bringing the love of Jesus
• Open Doors ministries started by Brother Andrew to support the persecuted church
• Voice of the Martyrs also supports the persecuted church
• There are also good Bible Distributing Ministries for getting the WORD into many developing, distressed, or closed nations like Talking Bibles, or Wycliff and so many others
• Compassion International is a Christian Ministry that sponsors children and helps give families the resources they need for water, food, farming and especially to learn the Word of God
• Chosen People Ministries is supporting ISRAEL in their need, and has ministry centers in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. They are actively supporting those displaced and affected by the massacre and ongoing war. Most of all, they are sharing the Gospel of the Jewish Messiah and supporting Messianic ministries and believers as they become more vocal than ever in this time of distress
And so FRIENDS, ONLY JESUS, YESHUA changes lives. ONLY JESUS PROMISES He will NEVER LEAVE you or FORSAKE you. ONLY JESUS can bring SALVATION and ETERNAL LIFE

Last time we discussed how God’s eternal plan for humanity was charted through Abraham, His faithful friend, to create a HOLY PEOPLE the nation of Israel, and a line of descent for the Messiah, by choosing DAVID to be King over Israel, and to ESTABLISH his ETERNAL THRONE in the Messiah, which was the promise to come: JESUS/YESHUA: meaning SALVATION.
And God CREATED THE NATION of ISRAEL HIMSELF, for THIS PURPOSE, and we cannot SEPARATE JESUS from being the JEWISH MESSIAH.

Isa 12:2 Behold, God [is] my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For YAH, the LORD, [is] my strength and song; He also has BECOME MY SALVATION.' " (HEBREW: BECOME YESHUA FOR ME)

And so JESUS is the WELL OF SALVATION promised the Jewish people. And yet PAUL and the prophets, and even Jesus himself described that the church would SPREAD AND grow AMONG THE GENTILES, until THE WHOLE WORLD would KNOW the NAME OF JESUS, YESHUA, ISA, YESU…

And so the ancient prophecies REVEAL that the MESSIAH would be given THROUGH ISRAEL, God’s Chosen people, to the WHOLE WORLD, and deliver salvation TO THE WHOLE WORLD during “the times of the Gentiles”
We see this promise in Isaiah:
Isa 11:10 "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the GENTILES SHALL SEEK HIM, And His resting place shall be glorious."

And there is an interesting principle in the Old Testament called The KINSMAN REDEEMER, which God gave in the LAW, but really, it points to the day His MESSIAH would BUY THE WHOLE WORLD, and REDEEM it as a BLOOD RELATIVE of those who had been sold into bondage because of the CURSE OF SIN.

And the principle is described through the beautiful story of Ruth, who helped restore Naomi, her faithful mother-in-law, by marrying a near Kinsman. And she bore to him Obed, father of Jesse, Father of David, through whom the KINSMAN REDEEMER PROMISES were given, in the coming Messiah.

For we see that in JESUS’S LINEAGE given in LUKE ch 3, that not only is Jesus the promised Messiah and Redeemer of Israel, but that he also is the near kinsman of the whole world, tracing through MARY’s BLOODLINE, back to David, then BACK to Abraham, THEN BACK TO ADAM .

So Jesus bought the WHOLE WORLD, and paid for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD—He ACTUALLY REDEEMED every HUMAN ever born, as a righteous BLOOD RELATIVE of every human—Son of God, Son of Man.
