Many claim now to be 'exvangelicals', or say their faith has been shattered, or even have left the faith altogether.

I've been wondering what in the world is going on in regards to so many "christians" leaving the faith, deconstructing their faith and deconverting. This is a major trend within the evangelical church and it doesn't seem to be going away any time soon.

I believe that many will be 'leaving' the faith due to various reasons. One of the main reasons this is happening is because the church has failed to present a balanced gospel message.

In this very short episode, I just wanted to give you all some initial thoughts as to what deconstruction is, why it's happening and set the stage for upcoming podcasts that dive deeper into this subject. There's a lot to unpack.
