A great story that teaches the 3rd Commandment in the bible, do not take God's name in vain. The story is taken from the children's book, "Time for Al-Bear", which is published by Sunny Valley Adventures. This is the 3rd book in a series of picture books that teach the 10 Commandments through fun stories. They rhyme with a rhythm that helps the story stay with the reader. They will help children learn these essential truths of society and life. The 3rd Commandment is to not take God’s name in vain. No one other than Bobby Bear could help us with this one. He has turned around and changed his name to “Al Bear Einstein”. He thinks he’s a scientist and has built a time machine to fly to all the picnics that serve honey with ice cream. It is quite a plan and he has all of history to enjoy. Thurston Owl helps steer the time machine through the history of the Bible to show many of the great things God has done and why we should Honor His name. It is a very engaging book that teaches this wonderful truth.
