Now for something different. A Christmas Jazz Concert by Eddie Condons from his weekly radio show. This is from Dec. 23, 1944. You will hear at the beginning and the end of this broadcast, The Blue Network. That was NBC, which had two networks, The Red & The Blue. In June, 1945, NBC was forced to sell the Blue Network because the FCC declared that they had a monopoly. The Blue Network became the ABC Network. Enjoy the show.
