The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania: Wellsboro, Pennsylvania

North-Central Pennsylvania is home to a National Natural Landmark. That being the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania (Pine Creek Gorge) It's a 47-mile gorge cut into the Allegheny Plateau by Pine Creek and is one of the best examples of a deep gorge in the eastern United States.

A quick stop lands us just outside of the town of Wellsboro at the Visitors Center in the Leonard Harrison State Park. From there, there are huge views! We will take you to the viewpoints at the 'Crown Jewel of Pennsylvania' and give you a quick glimpse of the park!
