02: Quran's Status | Intro to Quran for Non-Muslims

There are two textual sources of Islam: Quran, and the Hadith. Quran is the only inerrant and unaltered, verbatim and final word of God, accepted by all sects of Islam, unanimously.
Hence, Quran stands out as the only textual source that is completely divinely revealed, and consisting entirely of literal words of God. Muslims regard the Quran as Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) most important miracle, and a proof of his prophethood; and the culmination of a series of divine messages starting with those revealed to Adam, through all the Biblical prophets, down to Jesus, the Messiah (peace be upon them all).
