Why Jesus Came: A Christmas Message (based on the Gospels of Luke and John)

This time of year seems to become incredibly hectic, almost overwhelming at times with all that is going on. There are church and school programs, Christmas gatherings and parties, family coming and going, shopping nightmares, and the list goes on. We can get so wrapped up in all the activities and bluster of all that is going on that sometimes we forget even the simple basics of what Christmas is supposed to be about. Today Pastor Rick is going to take us back to some of the basics, things that most already know, but sometimes we need to be reminded of. Today we are going to consider, "Why Jesus Came."
