Workout report.
When we feel we have to breathe as hard as we can, we can perceive that as being on the edge of a panic, when we aren't.
Also many of us are conditioned to stop exerting ourselves when we are on the verge of sweating.
Eventually, we need to learn to breathe more deeply when we perceive an existential threat. This is how we react when we are little and if we have been traumatized into breathing shallow or not dealing with a situation when we start to sweat (like if we are in a public speaking situation), we need to learn to react naturally again.
