Modern Live Edge Walnut Desk

My client requested a live edge walnut desk with a mitered waterfall edge and a cabinet for a concealed safe. So we got to working! This tree came down from a walnut orchard in Northern California a couple hours north of my shop. The figure and character is crazy and it's just gorgeous. The cabinet carcass is made from easter black walnut but the door front is made from an off cut from the claro slab top.
