A Russian soldier cheated death when a Ukrainian sniper’s bullet hit his smartphone in his chest pocket.

Pictures show how his Chinese-made Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite took the brunt of the shot, leaving a mark on his chest, but not penetrating his body.

A hole is seen where the shot entered the phone and on the back of the device, there is a bulge with the bullet still embedded.
