Whisky.com reviews the Big Peat Christmas Edition 2023. At the end of the year, Douglas Laing is bottling its popular Big Peat as a special edition at cask strength and in a special Christmas design. This year's Christmas greeting from the island of Islay contains Single Malt Scotch from the distilleries Ardbeg, Bowmore, Caol Ila and Port Ellen. This edition of the Blended Malt is something very special: The 12th edition was allowed to mature in sherry casks for the first time and thus offers the perfect whisky for Christmas in terms of taste.
