Hello my lovelies and welcome back once again as I show you my days in the life Christmas version! I hope you have been enjoying your holiday season and making many merry memories that will be cherished and long-lasting. I am happy to show you some of my favorite homemaking and baking activities that have kept me feeling uplifted and encouraged during these dreary and dark winter days. 🍪 World's Best Chocolate Chip Cookies:
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. hot water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (or your preference)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in the hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour and chocolate chips. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans (I line my baking sheets with parchment paper). Bake for 10-11 minutes or until edges are nicely browned. Enjoy! 🤎
