SOME THINGS ARE SET IN STONE
(Written by Ben Antoniadis)

Autumn leaves falling down
Gravity giving way now
Under the trees on Lygon Street
Rising into sweet release

Lovers walk hand in hand
Do they understand?
Life is fleeting and the day is long
The clock is ticking on everyone

The tide of faith ebbs and flows
As seasons of hope come and go
Though some things are set in stone

My feet floating above the ground
Walking through the old town
Memories from years ago
Creep up, strike a tender blow

Dreamers will drift to the other side
Restless in their beds tonight
Life is lonely and the night is long
Without a love to call your own

There’s a lot that we don’t know
Strung out in flesh and bone
Though some things are set in stone

The tide of faith ebbs and flows
As seasons of hope come and go
Though love is set in stone

Autumn leaves falling down
Gravity giving way now
Under the trees on Lygon Street
Rising into sweet release
